Most Americans reject government healthcare for illegal immigrants: Poll

A large majority of Americans oppose positions that many of the candidates of Democratic presidential have taken on healthcare shows by a new poll.

On Monday, a poll released in which it is found that 58% of Americans disagree in giving government-backed healthcare to illegitimate immigrants whereas 38% say they support illegal immigrants by giving healthcare.

On the second night of the debate, all 10 Democratic candidates raised their hands for saying that they supported giving healthcare to illegal migrants. The debate included Sen. Bernie Sanders, South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Joe Biden, and Sen. Kamala Harris.

There was the only one candidate running, Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, who said freely that he fully disagree that the government is giving healthcare to illegal immigrants.

57% said they opposed the measure while only 37% of respondents said they supported absolutely eradicating private health insurance.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that they support abolishing private health insurance. Sanders said his plan for Medicare for All would also usually end private insurance.

Moreover, the poll also found support for Joe Biden’s campaign failing, hence, falling to 22% to 32% a month before.
